Cash App

I joined the Cash App Android team in February of 2021. This was a huge milestone in my career as I’d always admired the open source work done by the team.

Starting out on the in-app support experience, my passion for pixels led me to serve as the Android lead on a new Design Systems team. Here I planned a new Compose UI-first library, and managed contributions from over 60 Android engineers across the organisation.

It was a huge undertaking. Between iOS and Android, Cash had over 50 million monthly active customers, and we completely changed the application’s UI. With careful planning and execution we were able to successfully migrate the app to a more cohesive, modern design.
